Wins 4-3 vs William Patterson and ties 3-3 vs Marist College
Lehigh hit the road to start the 2016-2017 season. The first stop was William Paterson University, one of the top Division 2 schools year after year in the ACHA. The team won 4-3 behind some solid goaltending from Andrew Carlin and a hat trick from Kevin McGee. Assisting on all 4 goals was defenseman Andrew Clayton.
Next stop was Marist College. Freshman Andre Dugas scored the first goal of his college carreer to start the game. Lehigh held a 3-1 lead late into the game with 2 goals from Chris Ramondelli and 3 assists from Kevin McGee. The Mountain Hawks could not hold the lead and settled for a tie.
