BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- The Lehigh women's basketball team looks to win its sixth-straight game Saturday afternoon when the Mountain Hawks head to American for a 2 p.m. showdown. Free video will be available on the Patriot League Network, with audio coverage live on WLVR 91.3 FM.

Six Mountain Hawks scored eight or more points as a full-team effort led Lehigh to a 76-68 road win at Loyola Wednesday night. All ten Lehigh players that saw the floor scored as the Mountain Hawks were able to hold off a late Greyhound surge. Lehigh notched its fifth-straight win, completed the season sweep of Loyola and took over sole possession of third place in the Patriot League standings with a 7-3 league record that is part of a 14-7 overall mark.

Junior Lexi Martins recorded her 17th double-double of the season with 20 points and 19 rebounds. Sophomore Bernadette Devaney followed with a career high-tying 11 points, while senior Elizabeth Jordan chipped in nine. Seniors Kerry Kinek and Elizabeth Sharlow, along with sophomore Quinci Mann, tallied eight points apiece.

Martins leads Lehigh with 15.1 points and 14.6 rebounds per game and has tallied 17 double-doubles so far this season. Her rebounding average and number of double-doubles both rank second in the country. Martins also leads the team with 56 assists. Mann follows with 13.2 points per game, while Kinek has chipped in 12.0 points and 8.8 rebounds.

American enters Saturday's game in seventh place in the Patriot League standings with a 3-7 league record that is part of a 5-16 overall mark. The defending champions have lost five of their last six games and will be looking to rebound from a tough 60-54 overtime loss at Bucknell Wednesday night in the Eagles' most recent action.

Wednesday's game at Bucknell saw six ties and 15 lead changes. The Bison hit a jumper with 6.2 seconds left in regulation to send the contest to overtime. Bucknell outscored the Eagles 14-8 in the extra frame to capture the 60-54 victory. Ari Booth led American with 11 points, while Kaitlyn Lewis chipped in 10. The Eagles finished the game shooting 40.0 percent (22-for-55) from the field and held Bucknell to a 32.8 (19-for-58) field goal percentage, but the Bison scored 18 points from the charity stripe to help lead to the win.

For the season, Lauren Crisler leads the team with 10.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Cecily Carl follows with 6.9 points a 4.0 boards per contest, while Maria Liddane has recorded a team-best 81 assists. Lehigh trailed American by 16 with under seven minutes to play and was able to pull back within two in the final seconds, but the Mountain Hawks' rally fell just short as the Eagles earned a 59-55 victory in the season's first meeting on Jan. 9 inside Stabler Arena.
