BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh head men's basketball coach Brett Reed has announced the addition of three student-athletes in the incoming class of 2019. Matt Holba, Kyle Leufroy and Caleb Sedore come to Lehigh from three different parts of the country as the class features a 6-2 guard, 6-7 forward and 6-11 center.

"It is exciting to see that the future of Lehigh basketball continue to trend in a positive direction," said Reed. "I believe these young men who will be joining our program possess high-level attributes of intellect, talent in basketball and a strong character base to be thriving members of our program and academic community.

Out of Noblesville, Indiana, Holba is an athletic combo forward who can extend his game beyond the three-point line and go to the basket and finish above the rim. He was named an IndyStar Indiana Junior All-Star, finishing his junior campaign averaging 15.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game. He shot 40 percent from the three-point line (31-of-77) and led his team to the Indiana State Tournament semifinals where he tallied 23 points and six rebounds. Holba was invited to the Nike Ty Lawson Vic Oladipo All-American Camp this past summer. He also played AAU with Spiece Indy Heat on the Nike EYBL circuit.

"Matt's athleticism, skill level and competitive drive will allow him to excel within our program," said Reed. "He is explosive and an excellent finisher. He will be able to play effectively in the open floor, but can also utilize his versatility to create match-up issues in the half court. I also love the way he competes. Upon first evaluating him, I thought he was a terrific player and someone who would have a strong career within our program."

From Napa, California, Leufroy is a 6-2 guard, who can both score the ball and distribute effectively. As a junior, Leufroy averaged 22.3 points, six rebounds and three assists for Prolific Prep. He also played AAU basketball for Earl Watson Elite Gold, leading the team to the Double Pump Best of Summer Championship this past July. Leufroy's individual accolades are endless, earning first team All-Conference, All-Area and All-Region. He's been named the MVP of the La Canada Tournament and All-Tournament in the Monrovia Tournament. Leufroy garnered first team All-Mission League from 2012-14, first team All-CIF in 2013-14 and was named St. Francis MVP consecutive seasons from 2012-14.

"Kyle plays with a high motor, is a proven scorer and also has strong passing and playmaking skills," said Reed. "He will be physically ready to play college basketball and his strength will serve as an asset for the guard position. He takes pride in his performance and wants to excel on the court. Because of this drive, I feel he is someone who will continually seek enhance his game and advance quickly from an already strong starting point. I am very pleased to have him join our program and feel he will be an excellent player."

Sedore comes to Lehigh from Pulaski, New York where the 6-11 big man impressed from the post out to the three-point line. As a junior, he averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds for Pulaski High School, earning first team All-Conference as a junior. The team captain has been a three-year varsity player. He also has AAU experience with the Syracuse Nets program.

"Caleb has a high skill level in a 6-11 frame," said Reed. "What really makes him unique is his tremendous opportunity for growth. He is currently 16 years old in his senior year of high school. He is doing things on the basketball floor that many at his age with his size cannot do. He runs well and is skilled as a shooter and passer. He is able to score over either shoulder in the post as well. As he matures physically, I expect him to be on a growth pattern that will surprise many as he gains experience through his early college years."

The three incomers will look to replace a senior class of Corey Schaefer, Stefan Cvrkalj and Conroy Baltimore who will graduate after this season. These seniors and the rest of the Mountain Hawks will begin the 2014-15 campaign when they face #12 Villanova at the PPL Center in Allentown on Friday night. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. as the game will air live nation-wide on Fox Sports 2.
