Lehigh Falls in 2nd of Back to Back Games Against Scranton

The ice was cold but the pucks were on fire Saturday at Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem as the Mountain Hawks looked to extend their winning streak to 3 as they took on The University Of Scranton in the 2nd of 2 back to back matchups. Lehigh was shut out in the 1st period after Lehigh goalie Patrick Walgren was beaten twice off the sticks of Scranton's James Evers and Chris Del Mauro. Lehigh returned the favor in the 2nd period, shutting out Scranton on goals from Adam Goldstein and Ryan Lexa. This left the score deadlocked at 2 after 2 periods. Scranton was able to seal the deal in the 3rd period, starting off with Chris Del Mauro's 2nd goal of the night, followed by 3 more goals from Tim Skopek, Chris Carnall, and Joe Regan. Lehigh was able to get past Scranton's Kevin Murley twice in the 3rd on goals from Chris Ramondelli and Henry Brooks. Unfortuneately, this ended the scoring for the game and the Mountain Hawks fell short 6-4 thus ending their winning streak at 2. The team now breaks for the holidays and returns to the ice at Steel Ice Center after the New Year, Jan 14th against Drexel at 7:45pm. Official box score via the ACHA website can be found below.
