LEHIGH WINS!!!!!!!

The Lehigh University Mountain Hawks faced off against the Lafayette Leopards earlier this evening at Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem. The atmosphere was electric as students from both schools turned out for support. The game was no doubt different than any other game this season, as was anticipated. THE RIVALRY lived up to all its hype with a very physical game being played. Both teams together racked up 18 minor penalties. The Mountain Hawks were not going to be stopped. After Russ Mallet scored off an assist from Evan Goldstein at 11:40 of the 1st period, the Mountain Hawks never looked back and took it to the Leopards with a convincing 7-4 victory. A record crowd was on hand and the players and coaching staff would like to thank the current students and alumni that showed up to show their Lehigh pride! The Mountain Hawks will now have the next week off for Thanksgiving break but return to the ice 12/6/13, facing Scranton at 7:30pm at the Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston PA.
