BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In its first meet in nearly two months the Lehigh women's swimming and diving team fell to Army 156-138 Friday evening at Jacobs Pool. Sophomore Alissa Leung and freshmen Courtney Patterson and Carolyn Koch won multiple events to pace the Mountain Hawks, who swam well despite giving up points in the diving events.

Leung captured two individual events, winning the 200 yard backstroke in 2:08.90 and the 200 yard individual medley in 2:12.55, to go along with a second place finish in the 100 back.

Patterson showed her versatility, winning the 1000 free in 10:34.03 and the 200 yard butterfly in 2:08.35, while Koch led Lehigh in the sprint freestyle events, winning the 200 in 1:55.84 and the 100 in 53.68 while taking second in the 100 free.

Senior Emily DiDonato also enjoyed a strong showing in the breaststroke events, leading a Lehigh sweep in the 100 with a time of 1:08.38. Sophomore Kim Weyand and freshman Melissa Feeney finished second and third respectively.

The loss drops Lehigh's dual record to 1-3 overall and 1-2 against Patriot League opponents.

The Mountain Hawks will return to action on Saturday January 26 when they visit Bucknell for a 1 p.m. meet.
