BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Lehigh field hockey assistant Susan Ciufo will travel with the U.S. Indoor National Team to Vienna, Austria for the Rohrmax Cup next week. The tournament is set for Jan. 4-6. Ciufo has been heavily involved with USA Field Hockey for more than a year, participating in numerous practices and tournaments with the nation's top field hockey players.

Ciufo was a standout at Drexel, highlighted by a 2009 campaign which saw the Dragons not only advance to the NCAA Tournament, but also upset UConn in the first round. She finished that season with 21 goals (second highest in school history) while tying for second in the CAA with 51 points.
Ciufo has made an immediate impact on the Mountain Hawks' program, helping lead Lehigh to the Patriot League Tournament in her first season. Last season, the Mountain Hawks beat a CAA team for the first time since 2006 and scored their most goals since 2004 in the process. In addition, Lehigh topped Monmouth for the first time since 2005 while earning a hard-fought road win at Georgetown.
