Davies notches top-25 finish in season finale

SUFFERN, N.Y. – Lehigh finished action at the Roar-ee Invite on Saturday as the Mountain Hawks shot a 321 over the course of the final 18 holes, which gave the Mountain Hawks a 645 for the two-day tournament and placed them in a tie for ninth in the 14-school tournament. Lehigh’s top individual finisher was Rosie Davies who tied for 25th place individually as she shot a 158 (81, 77). Harvard won the team crown with a score of 603 (300, 303), and it was followed by Penn (613), Yale (619), Siena (630) and Columbia (317, 314).
Other Mountain Hawks that competed were Livia Amado who shot a 159 (80, 79) and tied for 35th place, Chelsea Michalek, who shot a 161 and tied for 39th, Ginette Schapira who tied for 59th place after shooting a 169 (82, 87), and Natalie Lansing who shot a 174 (89, 85) and tied for 65th place.
Nancy Shon of Columbia and Mia Kabasakalis of Harvard tied for first individually as they shot identical 148s, while Fairleigh Dickinson’s Michele Holwarth placed third with a 149.
The Roar-ee Invitational concludes Lehigh’s spring season.
