Lehigh back in action on Thursday vs. Dartmouth

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Following a 12-day layoff for final exams Lehigh returns to action on Thursday evening as the Mountain Hawks play host to the Dartmouth Big Green at Stabler Arena. Lehigh was last in action on December 5 when the Brown and White traveled to Ohio to face the Dayton Flyers. The Mountain Hawks placed three players in double figures, led by freshman C.J. McCollum with 16 points, but it was not enough as the Atlantic-10 preseason favorites came away with an 89-71 victory at UD Arena. Dartmouth meanwhile has not played since downing Lyndon State 83-54 on Sunday in New Hampshire. The Big Green placed four players in double figures, led by Jabari Trotter who hit for 16 points in the win.
Since moving out of the starting lineup six games ago junior Rob Keefer has provided the Mountain Hawks offense with a boost off the bench. Keefer is averaging 8.3 points in those contests, while shooting 57% from three-point range and 78% from the foul line. Keefer has hit for double figures three times, including an 11-point performance in only 15 minutes of action at Dayton.
In their three wins this season the Mountain Hawks have totaled more assists than turnovers in each game, averaging 21 assists to just 10 TOs. In its five losses however, Lehigh has registered more assists than turnovers just once (Rider). The Mountain Hawks are averaging 17 turnovers and 14 assists in their five setbacks.
