BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh continues its four-game road swing with its final non-league game of the season, as the Mountain Hawks travel to New Jersey to take on Princeton. The Mountain Hawks have dropped their last three contests and will use Wednesday night’s game as a tune-up for Saturday night’s critical league match at rival Lafayette.

Wednesday night’s match features two teams playing on opposite sides of the spectrum. The Mountain Hawks dropped to 4-7-1 overall and 0-3 in the Patriot League with losses at American and Navy over the Weekend. Lehigh has lost its last three games, all against league opponents, and has failed to score a goal during that time.

The Mountain Hawks have been stuck on seven goals for over two weeks, and things will not be getting any easier, as Princeton features one of the nation’s stingiest defenses. The Tigers are 7-1-2 overall and are unbeaten in their last eight games. While Lehigh enters the game having not scored in 305 minutes of soccer, Princeton is working on an impressive 600 minute shutout streak. The last team to score on Princeton was St. John’s, back on September 21.

Princeton played Brown to a scoreless draw on Saturday, and before that won five in a row, including wins over Patriot League members Colgate and American. Sarah Peteraf paces the Tiger attack with seven goals, while the aforementioned defense has yielded just three scores in ten matches this season. Princeton ranks among the nation’s leaders in save percentage, goals-against average and shutout percentage.

The Tigers lead the all-time series versus Lehigh 11-0, including a 1-0 triumph at the Ulrich Sports Complex.

Game time on Wednesday evening is set for 5 p.m. from Roberts Stadium. As part of an agreement between the two schools, Princeton’s streaming video feed of the contest will be available at no extra cost as part of Lehigh’s broadcast package through Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast.
