Lehigh loses final two matches of tournament

In their first match against Lipscomb, freshman Brittany Dickinson led the Brown and White offensively, with six kills and 17 assists. As a team, the Mountain Hawks hit .077 on the match, while Lipscomb recorded a .292 attack percentage.
The Camels came out flying in the first game, hitting .455, recording 19 kills and just four errors to take the game 30-11. The Mountain Hawks nearly came out with a victory in the second game, however, two late errors by gave Lipscomb the 30-26 victory. In the third game, Lipscomb committed a game high nine attack errors, but they were able to keep the Mountain Hawks at bay to take the game 30-22.
In the second match against the Mastodons, Shannon Spafford led the team with seven kills and also added five digs. The Mountain Hawks struggled offensively in the match, failing to hit over .100 in any of their games, and -.048 for the entire match.
Spafford was named to the all-tournament team for her efforts. She recorded 21 kills and 15 digs throughout the tournament. For the season, Spafford has a team high 81 kills, to go along with her 33 digs.
The Mountain Hawks return to action on Tuesday when they host their first game of the season against Wagner. The game will be played in Taylor Gym and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
