Lehigh falls in final two matches of Temple Classic

The Zips had three players in double digit attacks, led by sophomore Brionna Patterson. Patterson also had a team best eleven digs, followed closely by Jenninfer Stewart with ten.
Against the Explorers, sophomore Mo McReynolds and Spafford combined for 23 of the team’s 45 kills. Pimental had another outstanding game, converting on four of her five kill attempts and recorded a team high 16 digs.
In a thrilling third game there were three lead changes, with the Brown and White eventually coming out on top 30-21. The Mountain Hawks converted a season best .370 of their kill attempts, while only committing two kill errors.

The Mountain Hawks return to action on Saturday September 1 at the Patriot Invitational. They will face Howard in the first game at 2:30 PM, and then host George Mason at 7:00 PM.
