Lehigh opens spring season at GW Invite

BETHANY BEACH, Del. – Lehigh opened its 2007 spring season this past weekend at the George Washington Invitational. Senior Alan Borowsky and freshman Steve Suarez led the Mountain Hawks with a pair of top-20 finishes, as Borowky shot a 147 and Suarez recorded a two-round score of 149. Penn took home the team crown with a two-day score of 585, followed by Longwood, which shot a 588. The Mountain Hawks finished in a tie for 15th place with a score of 617.
Behind Borowsky and Suarez, other Lehigh finishers were Matt Denison, who shot a 161 (T-86), Eric Feather, with a 166 (T-104), and Chad Lubart, who shot a 167 (T-107). Seton Hall’s Kyle Morris won the event with a score of 141, one shot ahead of Yale’s Mark Matza’s two-day score of 142.
Lehigh will return to action on April 6 when the Mountain Hawks travel to
