Lehigh returns home tonight following a tough three-game road swing as the Mountain Hawks welcome the Highlanders of NJIT to Stabler Arena in the first-ever meeting between the schools. Lehigh fell to ACC power
Junior Matt Szalachowski currently leads the Patriot League in field goal percentage, shooting .577 percent from the field. The third-year guard has shot 50 percent or better in every game this season but one, topping out with a five-for-six performance (.833%) for a career-high 14 points vs. Saint Peter’s. Entering this season, Szalachowski was a 27 percent career shooter.
Lehigh is sporting a +1.0 turnover margin this season and 1.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, as compared to last year when the Mountain Hawks had a -1.0 turnover margin and a 0.8 assist-to-turnover margin. Lehigh currently leads the Patriot League in assist-to-turnover ratio.
Monday’s tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm from Stabler Arena. Tickets are available at the arena box office prior to tip-off.
