BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh Athletics is proud to announce that cable channel ESPNU is now available to Service Electric Cable subscribers in the Lehigh Valley. Four Lehigh basketball games are scheduled to air on the network this coming season, and now Lehigh fans throughout the Lehigh Valley region can catch the action on Service Electric dial position 174. Service Electric Cable TV & Communications is the area’s largest cable television provider, serving over 256,000 households in the Lehigh Valley.

Prior to the 2006-07 basketball season, the Patriot League partnered with ESPNU on a new basketball television package. Launched in March of 2005, ESPNU is now available in nearly 20 million homes nationally, including the majority of league markets.

Combined with Lehigh’s local basketball package on Service Electric, a total of eleven Lehigh men’s games and ten Lehigh women’s games will be available to Service Electric subscribers this season, with the majority airing on Service Electric’s award-winning 2 Sports outlet.
