BETHLEHEM, Pa. – With the wrestling season set to get underway with the annual wrestle-offs next week, Lehigh Athletics has announced its 2007-08 Lehigh wrestling broadcast schedule. Once again, most dual meets can be heard live in the Lehigh Valley on ESPN Radio 1230 and 1320, with live coverage, interviews, and more. Lehigh has also teamed up with the Lehigh Valley’s largest cable television provider – Service Electric – to televise a number of home matches on its award-winning 2 Sports outlet. Plans call for four home duals to be shown on Service Electric, the Lehigh Valley’s largest cable provider. For the first time in school history, all eight home matches – including the wrestle-offs – can be seen live and on-demand via the Lehigh web site at Lehighsports.com.

In addition to the twelve matches that can be heard on the radio, four more matches can be heard exclusively on-line as part of the Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast package. An industry leader in on-line broadcasts, Lehigh Athletics will make available over 200 events on its web site in 2007-08.

The broadcast team of Steve Lomangino and Gary Brownell will call most of the action on the radio, with 2 Sports’ Doug Heater and Kyle Berger teaming on the televised broadcasts.

Parents, fans, and alumni around the world can tune in to the live action of a variety of Lehigh sporting events via Lehighsports.com. By subscribing to the Yahoo! Sports College Broadcast package, fans will have access to over 200 Lehigh sporting events, programs, and special features. The package also includes access to the Lehigh Sports Magazine TV show throughout the fall, as well as special wrestling events and exclusive content.

All broadcasts on-line are aired live, and are available on-demand for enjoyment at any time. A nominal monthly subscription fee of $4.95 is required to access the package.

The 2007-08 Lehigh wrestling broadcast schedule gets underway on Tuesday night, when Lehighsports.com presents live exclusive coverage of the annual wrestle-offs at 7 pm. That broadcast will feature both live video and audio for the second straight year.
