BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh kicks-off the penultimate week of the regular season on Wednesday night as the Mountain Hawks travel to New Jersey to face No. 20 Princeton in the first of two games against ranked foes scheduled for this week. The Mountain Hawks improved to 7-6 overall with a pair of wins last week, a 4-2 triumph over Rider and a key 3-2 overtime win at Holy Cross.

Led by the reigning Patriot League Player of the Week Christy Smith, and junior Kalynn Davies, the Patriot League’s leading scorer, the Mountain Hawks will face a tough Princeton squad that has won its last four games and re-entered the national poll for the first time since the season’s opening week. At 8-4 the Tigers come in off a successful weekend in Providence, R.I., where Princeton blanked Brown 5-0 and defeated Providence 2-1.

Lehigh and Princeton have not met since 1993, a game won by the Tigers. Princeton leads the all-time series 10-5-1 and has won the last seven meetings.

Wednesday night’s game gets underway at 6 p.m. from Princeton’s Class of ’52 Stadium. As part of an agreement between the two schools, Princeton’s streaming video feed of the contest will be available at no extra cost as part of Lehigh’s broadcast package through Yahoo! Sports.
