BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Following a 2-0 week on the turf which featured Lehigh’s first win against Holy Cross since 1996, a pair of Mountain Hawks were honored as the Patriot League handed out its weekly field hockey awards on Monday. Senior midfielder Christy Smith earned Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks, while freshman goalkeeper Jessica Miller was named Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

Smith tied a career-high with five points in Lehigh’s 3-2 overtime triumph at Holy Cross on Saturday. The senior co-captain put Lehigh on the scoreboard in the 44th minute and assisted on the Mountain Hawks second goal, which put Lehigh up 2-0. The two-goal effort was the third of her career, and the five points matched a career-high established last season versus American.
