Mountain Hawks blanked by Penn State

In doubles action, the Nittany Lions dropped just one game, with sophomores Andrew Balshi and Michael Gordon taking a game off of the team of Ryan Berger and Ryan Gormley.
Lehigh failed to fare much better in singles action, losing all six matches in straight sets. Balshi was the only Mountain Hawk to win games in both sets, as he fell 6-1, 6-3 to Berger at second singles. For the second week in a row, head coach Dave Shook had to juggle his lineup as senior co-captain Ryan Lloyd was out with an injury, while junior Jon Nespoli was limited to doubles duty with an injury.
The Mountain Hawks will return to action on Sunday when they open their home schedule against the Knights of Fairleigh Dickinson. The match gets underway at 1 p.m. from the
