Mountain Hawks fall in three games

PHILADELPHIA – In their second game of the Temple Invitational, the Mountain Hawks were defeated once again in straight sets.  This time it was Cleveland State taking the three games with scores of 30-17, 30-15 and 30-19.

 

Freshman Maxie McCoy had a team-high five kills while senior Michelle Schwendenmann and freshman Brittany Thurston each recorded four.  Senior Cassidy Maumus led both teams in digs with 13.

 

Lehigh had to contend with a powerful attack from Cleveland State as three Vikings had double-digit kills.  Alexis Korovich led the way with a game-high 11 kills while Jenni Ramminger and Liz Fazio had 10 a piece.

 

The Mountain Hawks will be back in action later this afternoon when they take on Iona College at 3:00 p.m.
