The first half belonged to the Crusaders, who shot a blistering 61 percent from the field, including seven of ten field goals from beyond the three point line. Holy Cross built a lead as high as 14 points in the half before taking a 42-30 lead into halftime. The 42 points were the most allowed by Lehigh in a first half this season.
Junior Sara Ellis did her best to keep Lehigh in the game, scoring 12 first half points on 5-for-9 shooting. Blount added nine first half points for the Mountain Hawks, who shot 38 percent from the field in the opening half. Kaitlin Foley had 12 points to lead Holy Cross.
