After a sluggish start to game one, the Mountain Hawks offense began clicking as Lehigh overcame an early deficit to win the opening game 30-25. The Brown and White hit .265 in game one, their best hitting percentage of the four games.
Marist battled back and held off the Mountain Hawks in the next two games, winning game two 30-26 and game three 30-23. A Michelle Schwendenmann kill gave the Mountain Hawks a game point at 29-27, but this time it was Marist rallying to tie once again. Schwendenmann led four Mountain Hawks in double figures with 16 kills and 12 digs, her second double-double in as many matches. Nikky Barnes also recorded a double-double with 10 kills and 12 digs.
