Mountain Hawks drop second straight on the road

Jenny Callan added 12 points, four rebounds and two assists for Lehigh, while Mary Frances Hynoski scored 11 on the evening. Megan Ballard added 19 for the Raiders while Allison Lipinski tossed in 11 in the winning effort.
Lehigh trailed 46-32 at the half, which was the largest deficit at the half all season and just the fifth time all year that the Mountain Hawks were down heading into the locker room. The Mountain Hawks shot just 39 percent from the field in the opening stanza, while Colgate hit a sizzling 56 percent of its field goal attempts.
In the second half, Lehigh made a comeback, out scoring the home team 40-37 in the second stanza and tried to pull even with the Raiders, but just could not get over the hump. For the game Lehigh shot 42 percent, 39 from three-point range, and was out rebounded 38-36. The Raiders hit on 51 percent of their shots for the game and registered 11 steals.
Lehigh will return to action on Sunday afternoon as the Mountain Hawks travel to Lewisburg to take on the Bucknell Bison. Game time is set for
