Callan records another double-double but Lehigh falls

In the first half, the Bearcats shot the lights out, while Lehigh couldn’t buy a bucket.
The Mountain Hawks struggled with their shot attempts, connecting on just 22% of their opportunities (5-of-23) – its worst offensive output in any half this season. Despite the team struggles, junior forward Adrienne Blount was 4-for-8 from the floor, scoring eight points over the first 20 minutes.
The second half proved to be more of the same, as the Bearcats quickly put the game out of reach. Laws finished with a game-high 14 points for
Lehigh senior Jenny Callan recorded her third consecutive double-double, and her fourth in the last five games. Callan finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds in a losing effort. Sara Ellis and Adrienne Blount scored nine apiece for the Mountain Hawks. Sophomore Kaela Pearce added eight off the bench with a perfect 4-of-4 shooting display.
Lehigh connected on just 34% of its shot attempts on the night, and LU was 0-for-7 from beyond the three-point arc. Lehigh turned the ball over 22 times.
