Mountain Hawks fall 3-0 at Colgate

The Mountain Hawks fell behind 5-1 early in game one and were forced to play catch-up the rest of the way. Lehigh was hurt by errors, as the Brown and White committed 10 attacking errors and had only six kills as they dropped the opening game.
In game two Lehigh hit for a positive percentage and was able to keep things close before Colgate went on a late run to go up 2-0 in the match. The Mountain Hawks hit .111 and more than doubled their kills from game one with 14, but were still unable to overcome the Raiders.
Game three started well for Lehigh as the Mountain Hawks went point-for-point with the Raiders and hung within two for most of the game. Colgate was able to extend its lead to four at 25-21 before reeling off five consecutive points to wrap up the match.
Sophomore Julia Atkins led the Mountain Hawks with eight kills while junior Shaina
Defensively, Cassidy Maumus led the Mountain Hawks with 13 digs while sophomore Jenessa Armstrong added seven.
Colgate hit .194 for the match and the Raiders were led by Katrina Zawojski’s 13 kills.
