Gove and Iannarone honored for play by Patriot League

Trailing 2-0 at halftime to Colgate, Iannarone led the Lehigh charge, scoring her first goal of the day after she inserted the ball into play on a penalty corner, got it back and fired a shot into the back of the cage at the 48:40 mark. After the Mountain Hawks tied the game with less than one minute remaining, Iannarone scored her third game-winning goal of the season 6:30 into the extra session, when she got the ball on the left side of the field, made a move past a Raider defender and slipped the ball into the cage. Iannarone has scored both Lehigh game-winners in each of the Mountain Hawks league victories this year, as the
Iannarone leads Lehigh in points with 22 and assists with eight. She is tied for the team lead in goals with seven, and her three game-winning goals lead the Brown and White and place her in second in the Patriot League. For her career, Iannarone now has five game-winning goals.
