Towson took game one, 30-22, behind April Hoffman’s five kills. Tied at 20, the Tigers won 10 of the last 12 points to win the game. Despite the loss, head coach Amanda Moran saw positives in her team’s performance.

“The scores we’re not indicative of our team’s performance,” Moran said. “We played a tremendous defensive match and the girls played well as a team.”

April Hoffman had 13 kills and nine digs for the Tigers, who improve to 1-0.

Lehigh will return to the court Saturday to take on the host Hokies of Virginia Tech at 10 a.m. The Mountain Hawks conclude play in the Hokie Fall Invite against Appalachian State at 5 p.m.
