Christine Smith named Rookie of the Week

Bethlehem, PA – For the second time this season, Lehigh has the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on its side. Christine Smith received the honor on Monday after scoring her first collegiate goal last week in a 4-0 win over Georgetown. Smith has started every game for the Brown and White in her freshman season and has handed out two assists in addition to her one score thus far. The win over Georgetown improved the Mountain Hawks to 5-5 on the season, as they gear up for Patriot League play starting this weekend.

Lehigh returns to action on Saturday when the Mountain Hawks play host to Holy Cross in the league opener. Game time is scheduled for 1:00 from the Ulrich Sports Complex.
