Mountain Hawks finish 0-2 at Stetson Invitational

DeLand, FL – Lehigh finished the 2004 Stetson Invitational Tournament with an 0-2 record after falling to Florida Atlantic 3-0 Saturday Morning. Game scores were 30-14, 30-22 and 30-23.

Lehigh started out slowly, dropping game one by 16 points but battled back to make games two and three more competitive. The loss was the Mountain Hawks fourth in a row, dropping their season record to 1-9. Florida Atlantic is 4-1.

Michelle Schwendenmann lead the Mountain Hawks with 4 kills and 13 digs. Iana Andonova and Kelly Paiva recorded 16 kills apiece for the Owls.

Friday night, the Mountain Hawks lost to host Stetson 3-1.

Lehigh returns to the court on Friday, September 24 as the Mountain Hawks open up Patriot League play against arch-rival Lafayette in Easton. Game time set for 7:00. The game will be broadcast on Lehighsports.com.
