McCoy takes his first two matches

Athens, Greece - Lehigh assistant wrestling coach Kerry McCoy won both of his first two Olympic matches in pool competition on Friday in Athens. McCoy, competing in the 264.5 lb. division (120 kg), first defeated Francesco Miano of Italy by a score of 7-0 and he then followed that up with another solid 4-0 decision over Yuri Mildzihov of Kyrgyzstan. McCoy is slated to wrestle sometime around 12:30am this evening as he will take on Marid Mutalimov of Kazakhstan. That match will be shown on NBC.
