Bethlehem, PA – In a year in which the Mountain Hawks had their best season on the field, two Lehigh seniors have been honored for their success in the classroom.
Goalkeeper Erin Iwaskiewicz and defender Shannon Trexler were named to the District II Academic All-District Teams as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Iwaskiewicz was named to the first team after posting a 3.64 grade point average in Art and Graphic Communication. In addition she is a member of the Patriot League academic honor roll.
On the field, the Nashua, New Hampshire native is a three-time All-Patriot League selection, a two-time League Defensive Player of the Year and was recently named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year after posting seven shutouts and a 1.20 goals against average for the Mountain Hawks this season.
