Lehigh-PSU television broadcast to be shown live on-line

11/18/2004 12:00:00 AM | Men's Basketball

Lehigh’s season opener at Penn State on Friday will be televised live in the Lehigh Valley on WFMZ-TV.  The broadcast was scheduled to air on FSN Pittsburgh and DirecTV, but Penn State has blocked the regional and national broadcast.

Lehigh Athletics would like to apologize to our alumni and fans for this late change of plans.  However, we are proud to announce that, for the first time, the live television broadcast will be shown on lehighsports.com as part of the Yahoo! Broadcast package.  The broadcast will also be archived for later viewing.  No additional software is required, and no additional subscription is necessary to view the broadcast, though a high-speed internet connection is strongly recommended.

The Yahoo! Broadcast package includes the live and archived broadcast of nearly 200 Lehigh Athletics events, including the live audio of every Lehigh men’s basketball game.  Subscriptions are $4.95 per month.  For more information, or to subscribe, please visit the Lehigh Television and Radio page via the link above.
