West Point, NY – The Mountain Hawks dropped their third consecutive Patriot League match, falling to Army 3-1 Saturday night. Game scores were 30-27, 25-30, 30-17, 30-18 as Lehigh falls to 2-13 on the season 1-4 in the Patriot League. Army is now 7-7, 4-1 Patriot League.

Lehigh hung tough in game one, losing only by three points. The Mountain Hawks then rallied to take game two, but were unable to carry the momentum into games three and four as they suffer their third consecutive defeat.

Michelle Schwendenmann led the Mountain Hawks with 14 kills. Jill Rackets added 13 kills and a team high 15 digs. In all four players recorded double figures in digs. Caitlin Machon led the Black Knights with 20 kills.

The Mountain Hawks return to the court on Thursday night when they welcome American to the Leeman-Turner Arena. Game time set for 7:00.
