Bethlehem, PA – The Mountain Hawks control their own destiny as they travel to Worcester, Massachusetts on Saturday to wrap-up the regular season against Holy Cross. Lehigh can clinch a spot in the Patriot League Tournament with a win or tie against the Crusaders, as the Mountain Hawks look to reach the post season for just the second time in school history.

Lehigh looks to bounce back from Wednesday’s 3-1 non-conference loss to Penn. The Mountain Hawks have already established a new school record with 10 wins this season. Lehigh can qualify for the Patriot League Tournament with a win or a tie against the Crusaders. The Mountain Hawks could still win the regular season championship, and host the tournament with a win and losses or ties by Colgate and American in their final games.

Holy Cross is 3-11-0 on the season and at 2-3-0 in the Patriot League could still qualify for the Patriot League Tournament by winning its last two games and getting help from other teams.

Saturday’s game gets underway at 1:00 from Worcester. Below are the possible tournament scenarios involving the Mountain Hawks, as well as a schedule of remaining Patriot League games.

If Lehigh Wins…

-Will clinch Patriot League Tournament berth and be seeded no lower than third

-Will host Patriot League Tournament if Colgate and American both lose or tie their final games

If Lehigh Ties…

-Will clinch Patriot League Tournament Berth

-Will host Patriot League Tournament if Colgate and American both lose their final games

If Lehigh Loses…

-Can clinch Patriot League Tournament Berth if Navy ties or loses to Bucknell

-Can clinch Patriot League Tournament Berth if Navy beats Bucknell and Army loses one of its final two games and Holy Cross ties or loses to Army.
