Bethlehem, PA - Two days after being named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week, senior goalkeeper Erin Iwaskiewicz was honored as the ECAC Division I Co-Goalkeeper of the week for the week ending October 26.

Iwaskiewicz posted back to back shutouts last week. The senior captain made two saves in a 3-0 blanking of rival Lafayette, and followed that up with a four save effort as the Mountain Hawks beat Colgate 1-0. Iwaskiewicz has posted a 1.16 goals against average this season and leads the Patriot League with six shutouts.

This is the third in-season award for Iwaskiewicz, who has twice been named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week. In addition, Iwaskiewicz is a two-time first team All-Patriot League selection and the 2003 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. She is the Mountain Hawks all time leader in both shutouts and goals against average. Off the field, the art major is a member of the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

Iwaskiewicz has played every minute of every game in goal this season for the Mountain Hawks, who at 10-6-0 have set a school record for wins in a season. Lehigh visits Pennsylvania on Wednesday, then wraps up the regular season on Saturday against Holy Cross. With a win over the Crusaders the Mountain Hawks will clinch a berth in the Patriot League Tournament. Game time set for 1:00 from Worcester, Massachusetts.
