Bethlehem, PA – Lehigh dropped a tough 3-0 match on Friday evening at Grace Hall to Navy. Game scores were 30-21, 30-26, 30-21. Lehigh falls to 2-15 on the season, 1-6 in Patriot League play, while Navy improves to 14-5, 3-3 in league action.

After dropping the first game to the Midshipmen, Lehigh put on a furious rally and tied the match at 25, but Navy then went on a 5-1 run to take the game and go in front 2-0.

Senior Jill Racketa led the Mountain Hawks with 24 total attacks, and she also totaled six kills on the evening. Michelle Schwendenmann had ten kills and 32 total attacks for Lehigh. Navy was led by Ashley VanHartesvelt with 27 total attacks and 11 kills.

Lehigh will return to action on Wednesday when the Mountain Hawks welcome Fairleigh Dickinson to Grace Hall. The match is set to begin at 7:00.
