Lehigh set to host Bucknell Sunday afternoon

The Mountain Hawks look to remain perfect in Patriot League play when they welcome the Bucknell Bison to the Ulrich Sports Complex Sunday afternoon. Lehigh comes in riding a three game winning streak. Last time out the Mountain Hawks picked up their first road victory of the season, 1-0 at St. Francis (PA). Freshman Melissa Montalvo has scored in each of the Mountain Hawks last two games.

 

Senior goalkeeper Erin Iwaskiewicz (0.99 goals against avg.) anchors a defense that has posted three consecutive shutouts. Lehigh is 1-0 in the Patriot League after defeating Army last weekend.

 

The Bison come in 5-4-0 on the season, 1-1-0 in the league, losing at Colgate and beating Lafayette in Lewisburg. Freshman Krista Lee Gentile leads Bucknell with four goals this season.

 

Last year these two teams met at Bucknell with the Bison prevailing 1-0.

 

Sunday’s game gets underway at 1:00 and will be broadcast live on Lehigh’s web site at lehighsports.com
