Lehigh topped by Nittany Lions

State College, PA – No. 8 Lehigh (4-3) fell to No. 22 Penn State (2-0) in a dual meet on Sunday afternoon. Lehigh won four of the ten bouts, but the Nittany Lions walked away with the 24-13 win.
      The match started at 125 and the Penn State won the first four matches to take an 18-0 lead. It was not until 157 that freshman Derek Zinck got the Mountain Hawks onto the board with a 5-2 decision. Classmate Troy Letters cut into the Nittany Lion lead further picking up a 10-2 major decision to bring the match score to 18-7. Junior Brad Dillon scored another decision to make it 18-10 after the 174 bout. Lehigh’s only other bout victory was at 197, where junior All-American Jon Trenge scored a 4-1 decision.
      The Mountain Hawks will return to action tomorrow, when they travel to Pittsburgh for a 7:30 dual with the Panthers. The match will be held at West Allegheny High School. For directions to West Allegheny,
