Bethlehem, PA – The annual post season women’s soccer banquet was held on Sunday at the Buca di Beppo restaurant. The banquet serves as a season wrap up for the team and a forum for the team’s seniors to be honored.
The three awards that were handed out this season were the scholar athlete award, the coach’s award, and team MVP.
The scholar athlete award was given to senior Natasha Taylor. Taylor posted the top GPA on the team this past semester and is an annual member of the Patriot League’s Honor Roll.
The coach’s award went to senior Lauren Day. Day missed most of the season due to an injury, however, still managed to finish the year as one of the team’s top scorers.
The final award of the evening was given to Erin Iwaskiewicz. Iwaskiewicz, an all league selection at goalkeeper, was honored as the team’s MVP. For the season she played in all but 15 minutes, earning 98 saves.
