Matt Logie will join the men’s basketball coaching staff as Director of Basketball Operations for the 2003-04 season, head coach Billy Taylor has announced. Logie graduated from Lehigh in 2003 after a stellar career on the court that saw him capture several school and Patriot League records. Logie left Lehigh as one of only three players in its history (Daren Queenan and Mike Polaha) to be recognized on the All-Patriot League Rookie team as well as at least a second-team All-League member the following three years. Logie is now the Mountain Hawks all-time leader in three point shots made (262), ranks seventh in school history in scoring (1,524 points), and 11th among all-time Patriot League scorers. He is also the top all-time free throw shooter in Patriot League history (90.7%).

Logie will perform numerous duties with the Mountain Hawks including on-campus recruiting, individual skill development sessions, film exchange, summer camps, and he will assist with team travel. In addition, Logie will help in developing the quarterly newsletter, by writing and distributing it.

Coach Billy Taylor is very excited to add Logie as a member of the staff. Taylor explains, "We are incredibly excited to have Matt join our staff and assist in various different aspects," Taylor adds, "After a very productive career at Lehigh University, Matt will continue to follow his desire and passion for the game in coaching. He has a tremendous knowledge and love for the game of basketball and I look forward to helping with his development as a coach."

Fresh off of the second biggest turnaround (+11) in Division I basketball, Lehigh opens its 2003-04 season on Friday, November 21 as the Mountain Hawks host Long Island University at Stabler Arena.
