Mountain Hawks look for first win against Seawolves

Lehigh looks for its first win of the season tonight at Stabler Arena against Stony Brook. Both teams are coming off of loses and will be trying to get on the winning track. Lehigh was defeated by Long Island on Friday night in its season opener by a score of 67-54. Leading the way for the Mountain Hawks were led in scoring by Earl Nurse and Dayne Mickelson, each with 11 points on the evening, while Mickelson led the team with nine rebounds. The Seawolves were defeated by Utah on Sunday in a game where Stony Brook held a late lead, but could not endure a 9-0 scoring spree from the Utes, which resulted in the 51-48 defeat. In Stony Brook’s first game of the season, it defeated Dartmouth by a score of 56-53 in New York. The leading scorer for the Seawolves is senior guard D.J. Munir, who is scoring at a 12 points per game clip so far. Tuesday’s tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 from Lehigh’s Stabler Arena.
