Lehigh attacking sinks Navy
10/14/2003 12:00:00 AM | Volleyball
After winning the first game 30-26, Lehigh and Navy played a tense and exciting second game that saw many lead changes between the two schools. In the end, Lehigh was able to eek out a 33-31 victory that broke Navy’s spirit, as they won the third game easily 30-23. Head coach Senior Jeanette Singleton reached double digits in kills for the third straight match, leading the team with 13 on the night. Michelle Schwendenmann reached double figures as well, with 10 kills. Allison Jack, the Patriot League’s leader in assists, did nothing to change that, putting up 39 assists in just three games. The Mountain Hawks will remain on the road for their next two Patriot League contests. First up will be Bucknell on Friday night. That match can be heard live on Lehigh’s website at www.lehigh.edu.
