In the second game, American came out firing and looked to run away with the match, winning 30-19. But Lehigh hung tough, fighting until the end and keeping it much closer in the last two games 30-23 and 30-25. Head coach Singleton led the way on the night with 18 kills and 10 digs. The Mountain Hawks put up impressive defensive numbers as a whole, with Jill Racketa, Jill Kober, and Allison Jack all reaching double figures. Reigning Patriot League Player of the Year Karla Kucerkova paced American with 18 kills, and Cutrina Biddulph had 17.
