– Lehigh split a pair of matches in the Cleveland State Invitational against IPFW and St. Francis (PA) respectively on Friday.  The Mountain Hawks were defeated by IPFW three games to none, but came back in the nightcap to defeat the Red Flash by that same three games to none score.

In the early match, Lehigh could only manage to put on player in double figures in kills, as freshman Michelle Schwendenmann had 11 to lead the Mountain Hawks.  Senior Jeanette Singleton only had 3 kills, but played tremendous defense with a season-high 19 digs. Libero Jill Kober also had 10 digs in a losing effort.

Against St. Francis, Singleton was back on the attack, hammering home 17 kills and 10 digs.  She received help from fellow co-captain Kober with 12 digs, junior Jill Racketa with eight kills and freshman Michelle Schwendenmann with nine kills.  Senior Katie Dukatz had three blocks and sophomore Rebecca Gawronski added four to anchor the Mountain Hawk defense.
