2026-27 marks Ondrej Sramek’s first season on the Lehigh men’s tennis coaching staff, serving as a graduate assistant coach.
Sramek arrives in Bethlehem following a decorated playing career at St. Thomas Aquinas College, where he competed as a member of the men’s tennis team from 2022-26. During his time at STAC, Sramek established himself as one of the top players in program history, setting the school record with 122 career wins. He was a two-time ITA East Regional Semifinalist in doubles and a two-time ITA East Regional Quarterfinalist in singles. Sramek was also named the 2022-23 East Regional Rookie of the Year and earned East Coast Conference First Team honors three times.
Sramek played a key role in helping STAC make history, as the Spartans qualified for the NCAA Division II National Championship in both 2025 and 2026. He also earned recognition as the No. 1 doubles player in the Division II East Coast Region and was named both NCAA Division II East Coast Rookie of the Year and ECC Rookie of the Year.
In addition to his collegiate playing career, Sramek brings coaching experience from his native Czech Republic. He previously served as a professional tennis player and coach at Hradec Králové Tennis Club, where he competed in the Czech Second Division while coaching junior and semi-professional players in technical, tactical and mental preparation. He also assisted with team training, match preparation and tournament play while mentoring younger athletes.
A leader both on and off the court, Sramek served as president of the STAC International Student Organization, leading an organization of more than 30 members and organizing events, workshops and professional speaker sessions. He previously served as the organization's vice president and helped expand mentoring, career development and networking opportunities for students.
Sramek earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from St. Thomas Aquinas College in 2026 with a 3.47 cumulative GPA. He was a Dean’s List student and received a full NCAA Division II tennis and academic scholarship. Sramek also helped STAC tennis earn the program’s first-ever NCAA Championship qualification.
