Michael McGee

Michael McGee joined the Lehigh men’s wrestling program as an assistant coach ahead of the 2026-27 season. A three-time All-American and four-time conference champion on the mats, McGee comes to Bethlehem after two seasons as the recruiting coordinator at Arizona State.

Competing for the Sun Devils, McGee went 64-11 in three seasons. He earned three All-America medals at 133, finishing sixth in 2021, fourth in 2022 and third in 2023. McGee also captured Pac-12 titles in his final two seasons at ASU. As a senior, McGee was named Pac-12 Wrestler of the Year by InterMat and was recognized as a NWCA Scholar All-American following the 2022-23 season.

McGee spent his first three seasons at Old Dominion University, where he won back-to-back MAC titles at 125 in 2018 and 2019.

In addition to his time on staff at Arizona State, McGee competed for Atreus Wrestling RTC and finished sixth at 61 kg at the 2025 U.S. Open.

A native of Bolingbrook, Ill., where he won two state titles at Plainfield East, McGee graduated from Arizona State in 2023 with a degree in sport management.
