As a freshman…played in all 28 matches and 96 sets…led the team in kills with 305 season kills… ranked sixth in the patriot league and averaged a team high with 3.18 kills per set…second on the team with 184 digs in the season…In high school … was first team All State, first team All BCSL All-County and first team All League as a senior … named North Jersey player of the year by The Record Newspaper … Rutherford High School MVP … helped lead her team to be Undefeated League Champions in 2007.
Why Lehigh? “I chose Lehigh because it had the best to offer me in both academics and in athletics. I knew that if I went to Lehigh I would graduate with a remarkable education while playing competitive volleyball for an aspiring coach and great team. I loved everything about the school.”
What would you tell an incoming recruit about your coach?
“Coach Maurer, she can definitely surprise you… but in a good way…. She is very caring and has an amazing personality. I have no doubt that she is a great coach.”
What does it mean to be a part of the Lehigh student-athlete experience?
“It means the world to me.. I feel that being involved in a sport helps me do better in school and makes me a better person.”
