BEFORE LEHIGH
Pike is a 6-8 power forward from Houston, Texas and St. Thomas High School that averaged 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists and one steal per contest and was a part of a 28-3 team that was crowned regional champions. He's a three-time all-state and all-district honoree and is well-rounded, playing the piano and viola. Pike was also the student-body President, the House President and the recipient of the Gold Presidential Service Award. Pike commented on his decision to be a part of the Lehigh, "I'm so thankful for all my friends, family and coaches who helped me get to this point. I can't wait to get onto campus with Coach Reed and the team and get to work. I have my eyes set on a Patriot League Championship!"

COACH REED ON PIKE
"We are pleased to have Jake join Lehigh. Jake's combination of size, athleticism and skill will be great attributes for our program," noted Reed. "His perimeter shooting range will allow him to put pressure on defenses and open up floor space for our offensive attack. His combination of size and athleticism should also allow him to guard multiple positions as well as effectively rebound the basketball for us. Jake is a future focused person who's also a great student. He should thrive over his undergraduate career as he seeks the academic growth opportunities Lehigh can provide for him. Lehigh is getting a consummate student-athlete in Jake."
