Rob Fusaro enters his first season on the Lehigh staff as Director of Basketball Operations.
Fusaro, who also serves as video coordinator, comes to Lehigh from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia where he served as assistant coach for five seasons. He was the program's primary recruiting coordinator, recruiting two 1,000 point scorers and helping develop three All-CACC players. Other duties included organizing individual workouts, scouting reports for future opponents and more.
Â
"We're pleased to have Rob join our staff and expand his capacity for our program," said Lehigh head coach Brett Reed. "He has years of college coaching experience to draw from and now a familiarity with our basketball program, being with us over the last few months. His transition into Director of Basketball Operations will expand his responsibilities, yet also keep him involved with an area that he's had extensive training in thus far, and that's the breakdown of our basketball video needs."
Â
Prior to Chestnut Hill, Fusaro was assistant coach at Gwynedd-Mercy College in Pennsylvania. Fusaro helped coach the Griffins to a 21-10 record, winning the 2007 Coles Classic Tournament and finishing as runner-up in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (PAC) and the Eastern Collegiate Athletics Conference (ECAC) South Regional Tournament. He also has experience working the Hoop Group Top 100 camp as basketball instructor.
Â
Fusaro graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. He was a three-year member of the Blue Jays basketball team.
