Michael Calzola begins his first season on the Lehigh men’s basketball staff in 2020-21, serving as video coordinator. Calzola joins the Mountain Hawks’ program after serving as team manager, then head manager with the Akron Zips men’s basketball program.
Calzola will serve an important role in the area of video breakdown. An April, 2018 graduate, Calzola earned his Bachelor of Science in Education. He went on to begin his Master’s of Sports Administration program in January of 2019.
In his role as head manager, Calzola coordinated postgame meals on the road, helped with drills during practice and travelled with the team to certain road contests – including the Cayman Island Classic Tournament and MAC Tournament. Calzola also cut various practice and game film, learning valuable skills that will be a focus of his work at Lehigh.
